UZGOJ KONJA

Na farmi u Vrbovskom uzgajaju se punokrvni konji od 1983 g. Mladi konji u drugoj godini odlaze na hipodrom “Zagreb” gdje se najahuju i pripremaju za trke. Do četvrte godine su na hipodromu i tada se vrši selekcija, jedni odlaze nazad na farmu za uzgoj, drugi se koriste za sport, rekreaciju i turizam, a dio se prodaje na tržištu.

Osim hipodroma konji se ispituju u daljinskim jahanjima od 200 do 500 km. Također dio konja aktivno učestvuje na smotrama i izložbama širom zemlje (Gudovac, Sunja, Zagreb, etc.).

Arapski punokrvni konji

Kobile su nabavljene na ergeli “Borike” u Bosni i Hercegovini i uzgoj nastavlja tradicije te ergele po linijama pastuha (Gazal, Kuhaylan Zaid) i rodovima kobila (El Hafi, Hamdani), kao i nove linije koje smo stvorili (Golden Crown).

Na farmi se trenutno nalazi 7 pastuha, 7 kobila i 5 omadi i ždrebadi.

Engleski punokrvni konji

Dio stada je kupljen u bivšoj Jugoslaviji (Zobnatica). Najpoznatiji je pastuh Armando – šampion Jugoslavije 1986 g. Dio konja kupljen je u Engleskoj, kao: Little Prince, Maybe Gone and Autumn Wine, oni su trčali kako u Europi tako i u Hrvatskoj. U Mađarskoj je kupljen pobjednik S. Leger-a pastuh Raro.

Na farmi se trenutno nalazi 3 pastuha, 3 kobile i 1 ždrebe.

Akhal-Tekinski konji

1995 g. Uvezli smo pastuha Murgab (iz Turkmenistana) i dvije kobile Prima 2 i Malekusha 10 (iz Kazakhstana), te 2000 g. još jednog pastuha (iz Italije).

Linije su: Kaplan i Sapar Khan.

HORSE BREEDING

At the farm in Vrbovsko purebred horses have been bred since 1983. At the age of 2 years the horses are sent to the racing track in Zagreb (Hippodrome “ Zagreb ”) for braking and to be prepared for races. They are kept there until they reach the age of 4 and then the selection is made, some are taken back to the farm for breeding and some are used for sport, recreation and tourism, while others are being sold.

Apart from the racing tracks, the horses are being tested at endurance rides from 200 to 500 km. Some horses participate at shows all over the country (Gudovac, Sunja, Zagreb , etc.).

Arab Purebred horses

The mares were acquired from the “Borike” stud in Bosnia and Hercegovina and the breeding is a continuation of their tradition following the strains of the sires (Gazal, Kuhaylan Zaid) and the brood mares (El Hafi, Hamdani) as well as the new strain that we have created (Golden Crown).

At the moment there are 7 stallions, 7 mares and 5 foals at our farm.

Thoroughbred horses

Part of our stock has been acquired in former Yugoslavia (Zobnatica). The most outstanding stallion Armando was 1986 Champion of Yugoslavia. Part of the stock was acquired in England , like Little Prince, Maybe Gone and Autumn Wine, they competed in Croatia and other European Countries. In Hungary we acquired a stallion called Raro, winner of S. Leger race.

At the moment there are 3 stallions, 3 mares and 1 foal at our farm.

Akhal-Teke horses

Our initial stock (imported in 1995) consisted of stallion Murgab (from Turkmenistan ) and two mares Prima 2 and Malekusha 10 (from Kazakhstan ). One more stallion Adamas was acquired in 2000 from Italy .

Bloodlines are: Kaplan and Sapar Khan.

At the moment there are 2 stallions, 5 mares and 7 foals at our farm.
